Chole masala recipe is also known as Punjabi chana masala. Today I am sharing very easy to Freshly ground chole masala powder - For making this Punjabi chole recipe, whole spices are dry. Chole also known chickpea, garbanzo, and kable chana, Chana Masala is a cooked in a spicy tomato gravy. This is a very popular, served with Naan, Tandori Roti.
Instructions to make Masala chole:
- Soak chole overnight or for 5 to 6 hours
- In pan take 1glass of water add tea leaves and boil for 5 to 10 min add this water to chole
- Take cooker add chole and tea water in it add salt, baking soda,khade masala bay leaves,and ajwain give 4 to 5 whistle
- In pan add oil,cumin seeds,green chillies,grind onions and cook nicely till it turns brown add tomato puree and cook
- Add all dry masala and cook the masala till it leaves oil,add boil chole in it and cook for atleast 10 to 15 minutes in slow flame
- Garnish it with corinder leaves and serve it with batura or puri
